I’ve recently returned from two amazing weeks in Spain and Portugal – both magnificent countries full of music, food, wine and history. I particularly fell in love with Lisbon. Earlier this year, we picked up a couple of Microsoft Surface Pro 3s at work. We used them for doing digital sketch work for our customer storytelling efforts we’ve been developing. Ever since, I’ve been playing around with different brushes and techniques for quickly drawing expression and customer emotion. If you haven’t heard of them, Kyle Webster’s amazing brushes are pretty much the best for any kind of sketching/drawing situation. And since they’re so affordable, I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Took a quick trip to Boulder for work last week and got the chance to do some live sketching during a Design Thinking session that we hosted for Citrix at Impact HUB Boulder. In between the session and meetings, our group took a great quick hike in the foothills to see the famous Boulder flatirons up close and personal. I was blown away with the beauty and hospitality of the city. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks to Sue Morgan for the fun shots of yours truly sketching during the event.
